Target group:

The course has been designed for young graduates, with some experience in the endodontic field, who intend to carry on their profession by specialising in endodontics, as well as for professionals who are already practicing and who wish to extend their knowledge of endodontic themes.

Duration:

The Masters Degree Course lasts for one year, beginning in January and ending in December.

Lessons take place at the New Centre of Excellence in Teaching, Health Care and Research in the Dental Field. Teaching Pole, Dental School, Lingotto. Via Nizza, 230, Turin.

Requirements:

Qualifications required for entrance to the Master’s Degree are:

Degree under the old (Italian) regulations: (Dentistry and Prosthetic Dentistry, Medicine and Surgery) Specialised degree in Dentistry and Prosthetic Dentistry. Candidates must be listed on the Register of Dentists.

For graduates in Medicine and Surgery: Specialisation in Dentistry or the equivalent, or a qualification to practice the dental profession..

Equivalent foreign qualifications will also be accepted.

Admission:

Admission to the Master’s Degree Course will be based on evaluation of the candidates’ curricula vitae, with particular attention to qualifications and experience.

If the number of applications exceeds the number of places available (10 per year), admission will be determined through an evaluation process by the Scientific Committee.

Attendance:

Attendance of lectures and practical training are required. These take place over five full-time sessions, each lasting one week.

Students may opt to extend their clinical training on patients at no additional cost, depending on clinical needs and teaching purposes.

Cost:

The cost of the Master’s Degree Course is € 18.00,00 (University tuition included).

All equipment, instruments and materials for preclinical and clinical training will be provided to the students at no additional costs. 

2024 Master Costs, could be payed within 4 rates:

1) 750,00 € at the enrollment of the 2023 Master Course
2) 5.250,00 € al 09/02/2024
3) 6.000,00 € al 28/06/2024
3) 6.000,00 € al 30/09/2024


The Master's Course Programme:

Education and Training activities include: Traditional frontal lessons and e-learning platform, alternative study (seminars, workshops, presentation and discussion of clinical cases, meetings and conferences with opinion leaders, preparation of lessons and conferences), participation in research projects, hands-on training and performance of clinical cases with specific characteristics and varying levels of difficulty.

Final Test:

The final test is based on a multimedia presentation on the topic of the Master’s Thesis, leading to the diploma of Second Level Post-graduate Master’s Degree in Clinical and Surgical Microendodontics.

Each applicant must submit an application form in order to be considered for admission to the Master’s Programme.
